Hatha Yoga

Our hatha yoga classes strengthen, cleanse and relax your body through the use of traditional yoga poses. Classes utilise slower-paced static postures that emphasise alignment, strength and stretching. Exercises such as pranayama breathing and chanting are included for the mind's inner stillness. Our Hatha classes are great for beginners starting with yoga, just let the teacher know.

Carers, Mums and Bubs

Carers, Mums and Bubs

Our Carers, Mums and Bubs class allows yogis with babies or young toddlers to do yoga classes with their children. It is suitable for post-natal women six weeks onwards from giving birth. Any carer of your baby can also attend. This yoga class is Hatha style, focusing on strengthening both the body and the mind.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa yoga is characterized by postures that move from one to another with an emphasis on the pace and flow of poses in the class. Vinyasa classes build well-rounded fitness including strength. Classes include initial movements, breathing and postural progressions through a dynamic sequence. Participants should have undertaken hatha classes and be familiar with foundational yoga poses and sequences.

Foundations yoga appeals to both new students as well as advanced students wishing to hone their practice. Classes provide a level of detail not normally included in other classes, cover the range of yoga concepts and poses necessary to develop 'confidence in practice' and provide a technical understanding of yoga. Prenatal yoga allows women to explore an intuitive connection to their body while also gaining the confidence essential to creating a beautiful birth experience. Through movements, breathing and specific meditations you will feel increasingly open, rejuvenated and prepared physically, mentally and spiritually for the birth of your baby and the birth of yourself as a mother.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga

Our Yin yoga classes involve longer-held, passive floor poses that loosen key elements of our body including the hips, pelvis, inner thighs and lower spine. Yin Yoga is both a complementary and excellent practice as it stretches and opens our bodies connective tissues while developing inner stillness. It is a recommended practice for beginners and experienced yogis. Ask the teacher for more details.
